Who We Are:
We are Alisa and Jason, professional travel vloggers with a passion for exploring and sharing all aspects of travel. Our content encompasses destination guides and in-depth reviews, as well as practical advice on packing, trip planning, and travel preparation. While we are avid cruisers, we also enjoy experiencing exceptional resorts and diverse destinations around the globe. In recent years, we have especially enjoyed discovering and showcasing the remarkable travel opportunities available throughout the United States.
Our journey began with family travel, taking memorable vacations as soon as our children were old enough to enjoy extended trips. Since then, we have continued to seek out new and exciting destinations around the world. In January 2016, we launched EECC Travels on YouTube, marking the beginning of our vlogging career and our commitment to inspiring and informing fellow travelers.
Now that our children are grown, our focus has evolved to couples travel, where we highlight unique experiences, romantic getaways, and enriching adventures designed for two. We are continually seeking fresh destinations and meaningful experiences to share with our audience, helping them travel with confidence and excitement.
About our family:
EECC Travels started as me (Alisa), my husband Jason, and our three boys: Ethan, Cameron & Colby. Also part of the family is Emily, she is grown and doesn’t live at home but is still close by, but she hasn’t been traveling with us. Jason and I have been together since we were teenagers!
So where does EECC come from? It’s our kids’ initials. In 2003, when twin boys were born so was the family nickname of EECC. When you have six people in the family, it takes a lot of room to sign that many names on a birthday card and it just will not fit on those tiny to/from stickers at Christmas. So EECC became our family nickname and motto. And when we decided to start a YouTube travel channel, the name that made the most sense to us was EECC Travels.
Our family travels:
We took our first big family vacation in 2008 when the twins were 4 years old, and of course, it was to Disney World! We loved it and went back in 2010. An annual family vacation became a tradition. We have also taken trips to Lake of the Ozarks, MO; New Orleans, LA; Dallas, TX to Six Flags and Houston, TX to NASA. Our boys were strongly involved in Cub Scouts and Boy Scouts and some of our trips morphed into Scouting trips which I planned for the entire group. In 2012, we took our first cruise… and we were hooked! Cruising is an amazing vacation!!! There are so many different activities and locations wrapped into one vacation. How often can you take one trip and visit three countries???
EECC Travels was born:
When planning our Disney World trip in 2015, we discovered YouTube and all of the wonderful videos and vlogs out there! So my family and I decided, ‘hey this looks like fun’, and we decided to start a YouTube channel to share our travel adventures.
Now our kids are all grown and the two of us are still at it! So while now the channel is just Alisa & Jason, we decided to keep the EECC Travel name…. because it represents the family that we love!
